Yvonne Clarke, was my first grade teacher for two years 1974 to 1976 at Almond Town primary school, Kingston, Jamaica. My grandfather, Victor Russell Snr. was principal, my grandmother Ruby Russell and grand aunt Yvonne White were members of staff.
I addressed her as Ms.Seragdean throughout the years. Her vibrant personality had a lasting impression. Her passion for family and friends were unparallel. Yvonne was like family to the Russell and White families. She was very supportive of others and passionate about God.
We kept in contact throughout the years. Summer 2024, I visited Ms. Clarke. She made a wonderful dinner. That evening I realized her unwavering connection to God which she displayed by praying for me. She expressed gratitude for life and many blessings. An impactful mentor who has molded the lives of those she interacted with, has successfully carried out God's task.

Sleep in perfect peace!

Yvonne you are gone from our presence but remain in our hearts. Your laughter will live for ever.

I remember those Queensbury days with Jackie and mom, Pat and Bea what fun we had together and a little craziness at times but lots of laughter.

My fondest memory of you was when you stopped from work to stay home with me when i was having my baby.

God made you special and now he has taken you home.

Sleep on and take your rest.

Some one who brought a smile to every occasion.

What an amazing person and she has lived a remarkable life. I feel so blessed that I got to know her.
